Welcome to Mayl & to the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club May Christmas Challenge! I’m part of the challenge team again this year & the bonus is I’ll have a bunch of Christmas cards finished in plenty of time for Christmas this year. You’ll need to be Fan Club member but that’s easy…just click the blue link to find out how. Bet you’re wondering what the challenge theme is..I’d love to tell you but you’ll have to go see for yourself.

For my Christmas card, I colored & fussy cut the little bear (from a larger image) so I could put him in the driver’s seat of this cute little corvette. After I die cut the pine tree forest & snow hill, I saw there was a bit of green at the bottom of the dp I wanted to use so I colored the corvette mint green. The tiny holly & little bird were fussy cut from a snowman image. I guess since he’s a polar bear, driving w/ the top down in the winter is not a problem!

Here’s the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Stamps: Rubbernecker Stamps:Have Yourself,Polar Bears, Corvette, Icy Snowman (for the sm. holly & bird)

Ink:  Versaclair nocturne, Memento tuxedo black
Accessories:Rubbernecker Stamps: Rectangle Stitch, Corvette, Pine Tree Forest, Stitched Hills dies, Copic Sketch Markers

…we would all not only ride, but ride in style! A big congrats to Olga, the newest Featured Stamper (FS630) on Splitcoast! She has a wonderful gallery & after much browsing, I chose THIS to case. I kept the classic red car & oval bg, but I used different images & dies, & left off the flowers.

For my red ride in the country, after coloring & die cutting the corvette, I created the scene on the bg oval by first sponging on Distress inks, then using them on the bg part of a 2 part watercolor scene images. I stamped the trees part w/ Memento teal. The Wishes & fence were cut once out of teal & once out of white & double stacked, a little off.

Here’s a look at they inside & below it are the Copics I used.

Congrats to Jenny, the newest Featured Stamper (FS599) on Splitcoast! She has such a wonderful gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the sunset bg w/ a silhouette image but I used different images, a corvette instead of a crane in the foreground & changed it from vertical to horizontal.

To make my Ocean Drive card, I painted watercolors onto the solid background image & stamped it onto white card stock. After I dried it, I placed it in my Misti & stamped the silhouette palms (several times) using VersaClair ink then added white highlights w/ a gel pen. I drew a few seagulls w/ a Copic multiliner pen.The white frame was  die cut & stamped with the Happy Birthday squiggle frame. The corvette was stamped, colored & die cut w/ the matching die. I made the corvette yellow because my dad used to have a yellow corvette & he loved it! Personally, I preferred the Mustang convertible he had before that, lol.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used on the corvette.
