Pumpkin Mini Slimline

For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC881) we’re visiting Party City & their Pinterest Boards where I found THIS picture.

For my Halloween mini slimline card, I started by die cut the Halloween paper w/ a mini slimline die.The white topper was die cut w/ a smaller die & I also used a 3 circle die on the top which just happened to line up w/ the pumpkins in the paper. I used several Halloween dies..the witch’s hat, cauldron & broom, along w/ the jack o lanterns, bats, the owl & spooky tree, and finally the drippy border and arranged them all on top.

Halloween Pumpkins

A fun, colorful Halloween card w/ some adorable dress up pumpkins, bright colors & a cute striped background paper cut w/ a piercing die of circles.

It’s my turn to host the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge and we’re visiting Reproduction Gallery and their Pinterest Boards where I was inspired by these 2 pictures. This and This.

After stamping, masking and coloring in my dress up pumpkins and cat, I die cut the panel and added a purple layer behind it. For the striped bg, I used a new Rubbernecker Halloween paper pack and used a circular piercing plate on it. Then another, very narrow purple layer. A few gems were added for sparkle.

Boo Slimline

It’s my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge (FS767) so a big congrats to my choice, Ashley! She has a wonderful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the big harvest moon & blue bg, but used different images, dies & technique, & made mine a Halloween slimline.

For my card, I cut a lg circle out of copy paper & used the reverse mask to sponge in the yellows & a bit of orange for the big moon. Then I used the circle cut out to mask the moon & sponge in the blues for the bg. Since it had so much ink on it, I dried it a bit w/ my heat gun before putting it into my Misti & stamping the slimline silhouette image several times, for good coverage. Since it’s all one image, it made the card pretty quick & easy. I used a reverse mask of the slimline clouds die to sponge a bit of white to give the impression of clouds across the top. I die cut the Birthday & 2 Hellos (along w/ their outlines) then did a little surgery to make the word Boo.
