A card featuring some beautiful new dies & watercolor paper. The fancy edges of the rectangles & artist tools are perfect for your crafting, artist friends.

A big congrats to Anne Marie, the newest Featured Stamper (FS855)! She has lovely little gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the layout & central floral image, but used different images, dies & colors. I also added the little artist’s brushes in a jar & a fancy die cut behind the flower.

My little artist canvas card was made by die cutting the new fancy edge dies out of white. I added some lovely new watercolor paper inside the largest frame, the inside fancy rectangle on top w/ the yellow flower on top of it. I also die cut the artists tools & easel & colored them w/ a couple of Copics. The greeting was part of a larger one that trimmed down and attached to the easel.

The easel, flower & small fancy rectangle are all popped up a bit for dimension.

Here are the Copics I used. I colored the whole sheet of images in the set, but only used the yellows & greens on this flower.

    Thanks
    so much for stopping by!

  • Daisy Friend

A bright, hot pink daisies card w/ a white stenciled front & a greeting for that best friend. Sure to make her/him feel very special.

It’s my turn to host the Featured Stamper Challenge so a big congrats to Tammy! She has an amazing gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the 3 window cover & flowers, but used different images, dies, colors & turned mine horizontal.

My bright pink card started w/ the die cut cover w/ the 3 scallop square openings. I used a tree branch stencil & white pigment ink to add the pattern on the hot pink. The 2 sizes of daisies were stamped & since they’re a layered set, I used some pinks & an orange ink to stamp the inside colors then die cut them. I also used a mini slimline die to cut the white panel w/ the scallop w/ holes, then I used a stitched rectangle die (resized-made it longer) to cut it out. I added it on top of the pink windows then popped up the daisies inside.

The greeting was stamped directly on top of the stenciled panel. Stickles was added to the flower centers for a little sparkle.

    Thanks

  • Stripes & Hydrangeas

A birthday card featuring a two layer hydrangea w/ a watercolor look (no coloring required!) & a diagonal stripe card cover die. Change up the colors & greeting for any occasion.

The Inspiration Challenge this week is a place called Heirloomed & their Pinterest Board where I found THIS pic for my inspiration. I liked the stripes w/ the flowers.

I did cut the diagonal stripe cover die out of black & had a large white panel to go behind it. The hydrangeas are multi part images, w/ an outline part & solid part for the color. I used a couple of pinks & blues for one set & pinks & yellow for the other, then die cut them. I added stickles to the flowers then arranged them on top & inside the diagonal stripes. I thought it needed a little more color, so I added some blue behind a few on the bottom and some lt green behind a couple on the top.

The greeting was die cut & I used a pink marker to outline the edge.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
