Today’s Ways to Use It Challenge (WT589) gave me the perfect opportunity to use an idea for numbers dies that I had in the back of mind. After I die cut all the numbers into the dk orange layer, I added a lt blue layer behind it so the cutouts would show. I attached most of the cutout numbers on top & a plaid layer behind the other two layers.
It probably took me longer to find the perfect 3 greetings to put together for the little star in the upper left than anything. I put them into my Misti, one at a time then inked the part I wanted w/ a black Tombow marker then repeated since I usually don’t get that a great an image the first time when using a marker instead of ink. The rest of the greeting was curved (it’s a clear stamp, so pretty easy to do) & I used a Double Stitched Circle die to cut the curvy shape around it.
Here’s a look at the inside.
