Smart Fox

For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC710), we have a site w/ a lot of wonderful, handmade items. I was inspired by THIS coin purse. It reminded me of a new set of fox images I just rec’d.

After coloring & die cutting the pair of foxes & the little birds, I made a wide blue frame w/ a narrow white & narrow brown frame to fit the opening. I attached the die cut birches on top of a piece of brown dp, then attached that behind the opening. The birches were shaded a bit w/ gray Prismacolor pencil.

Christmas Corvette

Welcome to Mayl & to the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club May Christmas Challenge! I’m part of the challenge team again this year & the bonus is I’ll have a bunch of Christmas cards finished in plenty of time for Christmas this year. You’ll need to be Fan Club member but that’s easy…just click the blue link to find out how. For my Christmas card, I colored & fussy cut the little bear (from a larger image) so I could put him in the driver’s seat of this cute little corvette. After I die cut the pine tree forest & snow hill, I saw there was a bit of green at the bottom of the dp I wanted to use so I colored the corvette mint green. The tiny holly & little bird were fussy cut from a snowman image. I guess since he’s a polar bear, driving w/ the top down in the winter is not a problem!

Easter Bunny Greetings

Such fun spring colors for today’s Color Challenge (CC729) on Splitcoast! They really are perfect for an Easter card..even if it’s a silly one.

This card is pretty CAS & all on one layer. The big bunny head image is one of my faves so I stamped him, drew some paws where I wanted them, then masked them & stamped the brick wall. With the masks still in place, I sponged in the sky then removed the masks & colored everything. The little Easter eggs (jelly bean image) & sign were fussy cut & added.
