It’s pleasure & my turn to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge (FS650)! So a big congrats to Karin, the newest Featured Stamper! She has a fab gallery & I chose THIS to case. I liked the cut out clouds overlay so I kept that, but I used different images, dies & colors, & added a little village below.

For my little scene, the bear in the airplane was colored & die cut w/ the matching die. I used the two cloud dies to cut out the shapes in my top panel & added a gradient teal piece of dp behind it. The little houses were stamped below (there are matching dies for all of these in the set, I just didn’t use them.)

Here’s the inside & the Copics I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Welcome to the Aug #2 Blog Hop for Serendipity Stamps!
If you arrived here from Miriam’s blog, you’re in the right place..if not, you may want to head over there first.

The Prize – One $20 gift code will go to one random commenter from the blogs. So be sure  to visit all the blogs because you don’t know which one the winner will be drawn from. You have through Sunday Aug 20 to leave comments on the blogs for a chance to win. Mary will announce a winner on Aug 21 on her Blog.  Each month a different image is 50% off. This month- it’s the Airplane! On the first & third Wednesdays of every month., we’ll be celebrating with a Blog Hop!

For my Airplane card, I did the opposite of what I usually do, I picked out the papers first then colored my scene to go with them. I cut the piece of designer paper w/ the text & put it into my Misti & stamped the Airplane first w/ Memento ink. After coloring it w/ Prismacolor pencils, I stamped over it w/ Versafine to bring the details back then antiqued it a bit by sponging on some antique linen ink & edged it w/ a black marker. The greeting was stamped on a small piece of vellum & I die cut a stitched flag frame to go over it.

Here’s a look at the inside.

Next stop is Vickie‘s Blog!  Please be sure to comment on all the DT Blogs..it will be so appreciated & also increase your chances of winning!
