Poppy Thanks

Need a thank you card for a lovely gift you received or to thank a party hostess? This one is shimmery, sparkly and easy! It’s also great to use up partial backgrounds that are too pretty not to use. Add an embossed image, embossed & die cut greeting and a black frame to set it off.

A big congrats to Beth, the newest Featured Stamper FS931! She has a gorgeous gallery of scrapbook pages & after much browsing, I chose THIS page to case. I kept the bright pinks & black frame but I used a flower image on top of a sprayed bg, heat embossed everything & made mine a thank you card.

My card started w/ a piece of card I had underneath a background I sprayed with glimmer mist colors. I thought it would make a good back drop for the simple poppy images. I heat embossed the outlines in black, then stamped the solid flower parts with a gold Opalite ink. It didn’t show up very well on the bright background, so I heat embossed it w/ a transparent, glittery powder. The greeting was heat embossed with a black glitter powder, die cut, then added in the lower right corner. A black scallop frame was added on top.

Thanks
so much for stopping by!
