Light as a Snowflake

Today, I have a clean and simple card for Christmas or any winter holiday. All you need is some pretty paper, a couple of big die cut snowflakes, a tiny snowflake border and a greeting. These are easy to make assembly line style and easy to change up the colors and paper. Also, completely mailable without needing extra postage.

A big congrats to Ann, the newest Featured Stamper (FS913)! She has a wonderful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the layout & Christmas theme, but I used different images, dies, papers & added a big snowflake & tiny snowflake border detail instead of the embossed front.

For my card, I die cut the greeting oval & teal oval layers & stamped part of the greeting. I couldn’t fit all of it, so I left off the last 2 lines.  I cut the large pale heathered green layer & used just the inset of the snowflake border down the right side. The pretty Christmas paper was cut along w/ a larger teal layer using a couple of rectangle dies. After cutting them, I moved the dies inward to narrow the panels. Two large snowflakes were die cut using the pale green heather & teal paper. I added cardboard behind them to pop them up & add a little dimension.

Thanks
so much for stopping by!
