Birthday Stencil

A big congrats to Ardyth, the newest Featured Stamper (FS781)! She has such a fabulous gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the mini slimline & geometric pattern, but used different images & dies & used a stencil for my pattern instead of a die cut.

For my CAS mini slimline card, I used a wonderful geometric stencil & a bunch of Color Fuse inks to sponge the colors. The stencil is a 6″ square so it wasn’t quite tac enough. I sponged in the colors as far as I could, then moved the stencil up, finding the area that matched & finished the top section. I used one of the dk turquoise inks for the stamped part of the greeting, attached it w/ temporary adhesive, then put the mini slimline die back on the die cut stencil panel & ran it thru again, to get the matched edges on the greeting strip. Before I attached it permanently, I slid two narrow turquoise strips along the top & bottom edges. The die cut Happy was double stacked w/ the pale rose & white, & the shadow was cut out of turquoise.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
