Purple Flowers

It’s my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge (FS745) this week, so a big congrats to Robyn! She has a lovely gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the big purple blooms, but used different images & dies, & changed the layout a bit.

For my card, I used a lovely, clear layering flower set & started w/ a lt rose colored ink on the solid (1st) layer. Since it was in my Misti, I stamped it again using the lightest purple ink w/ a touch of medium blue around the edges. Then I lined up the 2nd layer & stamped it w/ a darker purple & used a bit of darker blue in the shadow areas. The final layer was stamped using the next to darkest purple w/ some dark blue in the shadow areas. I like mixing up the colors to give it more depth. The leaves were done in 2 colors of green then they were die cut w/ their matching dies. I used a narrow layer of textured dk green down the left side & the narrow purple strip on the right was sponged w/ the purple inks in order to match the flower.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
