For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC806), we’re headed to a watercolor Pinterest Board where I found THIS lovely portrait. I don’t have a child’s face image so I used Jacqueline, instead.
I put a piece of watercolor paper into my Misti & stamped her w/ Morning Mist versaclair ink..it’s a dk grey so it’s not as high contrast as black. I used some soft teal & soft peach watercolors & a lot of water to paint the panel. I didn’t even mix the color..it was some that was left over in my palette & I liked the colors. When it dried, I stamped the greeting across the left bottom corner & used a pen to add the XOXO. In my head, I saw it as a stylized glamor portrait that the sender would autograph.Â
Thanks so much for stopping by!Â
