Neon Daisies

Such terrific nail art for the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC756)! WOW! There are really some jaw dropping nails on that Pinterest Board & I kept coming back to THIS picture. Those colors really got me going!

So what to do? I figured the only way I was going to get colors close to those was to bring out the Copic Fluorescent markers. They hardly ever get used & they were just chomping at the bit. After stamping & coloring the daisies (& a few extra), I die cut using my out of the box technique & fussy cut the other 3. On the narrow layer behind the daisies, I used a brayer & a melon rainbow pad to bring in a little more color.

For the split background, I white embossed the dots on the black & stamped the dots in black on the white, then white embossed the greeting on a little word window black strip.

Here are the Copics I used:

  1. This is a very stunning card. Those colours you used on the nail art cross over to a card very well. Love how you can create so many different looks and layouts. Have a nice weekend Julie, and stay safe.
