For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC650), Stacy chose a site of an English tissue paper collage artist, Victoria Bellas Carter. I had fun strolling thru her amazing gallery & chose THIS as my inspiration.Â
To make my card, I made a watercolor bg w/ yellows & a little orange. After it dried, I placed it in my Misti & stamped the vases several times to get good coverage on the w/c paper. I used a paintbrush & clear water to remove most of the yellow from the lg flower on the vase then added the pinky red color. I used paint that had dried in my palette & I guess it had some iridescent w/c medium in it because the flowers have some sparkle now. The other little flowers were done the same way on a leftover piece of the bg & I fussy cut them.
Here’s a look at the inside. I haven’t decided who it’s going to so I didn’t add a greeting yet.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
