My card today is on the very CAS side of things. Don’t let that fool you..I’m sure it takes longer for me to do CAS than to do a “normal” card. For the most part, I have trouble w/ CAS. The images are really cute but I need more practice w/ these type of images. The hearts were stamped on the linen bg & I thought it needed more so I outlined them w/ a glue pen & sprinkled on some glitter. For the Love word, I sponged Distress inks from left to right then stamped & glittered it. I found a piece of patterned paper just the right size & colors so I used it to back the white & to die cut the swirly.
Here’s a look at the inside.
Please be sure to comment on all the blogs..it is much appreciated & also increases your chances of winning!Â

This card is so pretty and well balanced! I enjoyed the little surprise of seeing how special the inside looks as well.
Ha – oh yes, I agree that CAS can take way longer, and it’s so unforgiving. Those scribbled hearts and soft colours are so pretty and I love the special inside.
Oh Julie…. you did it again ! I love the simple elegance of your soft design! Beautiful card inside and out! Don’t you just love these new stamps!
Even with a CAS card you manage to tie several elements together so cleverly! The hearts coordinate with the swirly die and that swirly die makes me think of linked wedding rings! Love it!
Very pretty card, I love the soft colours
Lovely card!!! It makes me feel better to hear that sometimes other crafters struggle with just how to use certain stamps. I’ve bought a lot of stamps over the years that I just loved and then when it comes down to using them I’m at a loss so they end up staying in my overabundance of “never been used” items.
beautiful colour blending and love the placement of your die cut. great CAS Card 🙂
Love your CAS card. Beautiful and fantastic inside, too.
It’s modern, softly colored and interesting. Really like that swirly die!
How awesome your card
looks. I love how you
used the swirly!

Love the free-form of the stamps.
The combination of the green and pink
is so pretty. Great cards.

Fantastic CAS card, Julie! Love the simple hearts and how you’ve threaded the piece with the love through the circles! Great on the inside too!
Pretty colors and textures! Love that swirl!
Pretty design inside and out.
