Texas Howdy



A big congrats to Bronwyn, the newest Featured Stamper (FS578) on Splitcoast! She has a wonderful gallery and after much browsing, I chose THIS to case. I kept the colors & layout but her little boy became the state of Texas and I changed the triangular spinner to a word art thingie (per the Technique Challenge TLC679) & instead of white stitch lines I used a barbed wire border.

I did the lines & coloring for the word art for the die cut Howdy per the Technique Challenge then colored the die cut Texas shape & did my best to match up the lower end of the point convergence & added a star at that point. The lt blue was dry embossed then I made a border using a barbed wire die.

Paper: Staples 110# white, Neenah white, lt blue, cobalt blue
Ink:  Memento tuxedo black on inside
Accessories:  Serendipity Howdy die, star punches, Copic markers, Gina Marie barbed wire die, Lil’ Inker stitched rectangles.
