Today’s Inspiration Challenge (IC565) is a site w/ some beautiful dishes & I was inspired by THIS plate. I thought it also went well w/ colors from Tuesday’s Color Challenge (CC602). I don’t have the exact colors, so I came as close as I could using a combination of inks.
I die cut a white background, taped off the edges all around, then sponged on a combination of inks to try to get close to the colors. Then I stamped the Starry Bg first in the plum ink, then again in the white pigment ink across the top.Â
The black city skyline & white silhouette behind it were added at the bottom & then I put into my Misti & inked only the BIG w/ a black marker & stamped it 3 times to get good coverage. The Wish was die cut once out of white & once out of black & stacked together to add on top of the BIG. The lt gray layer was die cut & added underneath. Just a little Wink of Stella was added to the stars.
Here’s a look at the inside. I used the negative of the die cut as a mask & sponged the city silhouette across the bottom.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
