This is a CAS (clean & simple) card for the Color Challenge (CC493) today on Splitcoast. I don’t have the exact colors, but I came pretty close using Distress inks. I masked the edges of a white panel and sponged on the inks. Then I used a stencil, sponged thru it to add a bit more interest. The image & greeting were stamped on top along with some dots across the bottom using an ink spot image.I added a few highlights on the colored part of the image w/ a white gel pen and white Prismacolor pencil. It was die cut w/ matting die and the leftover piece was sponged and added back around the main panel.
I even went for the dessert option of the challenge…recycle something 🙂 My little leaf was stamped w/ Stazon onto a piece of plastic packaging and colored on the back side w/ Copics, cut out then heated a little in order to curl it a bit.Â
Thanks so much for stopping by!Â
