A big congrats to Diane, the newest Featured Stamper (FS393) on Splitcoast! She has such a wonderful gallery. After much browsing, I chose THIS card to case. I really liked the strip background and color, so I kept those, but I used different images, added some embossed glitter in the negative strips and a cute little fish.Â
IÂ cut the turquoise paper in strips like Diane did and stuck them to white card stock covered with adhesive. Then I had this idea that I’d like to cover the white blanks with glitter for a little different look. I also covered the edge of the layered circle with a glitter embossing powder very similar in color, as well as a left over strip that I cut to look like seaweed. Â I also covered a Candi dot w/ VersaMark and embossed it w/ the same powder. The cute little fish was colored with Copics and fussy cut. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used for the fish.Â
Congrats again, Diane! Thanks so much for stopping by!
