For today’s Technique Challenge (TLC440) on Splitcoast, we are to pick one of the first 50 Technique Challenges. I chose TLC36, Keeping it Simple. So this is a very simple card. Especially since I already had the two long rectangles cut and just sitting there…even the little oval window was already cut.
The images are from DRS Designs and this cute little Big Mouth Bass is brand new! Isn’t he adorable? I thought if I paired him w/ one of the new Garden Bugs it would be perfect w/ the Caught a Bug greeting. I added a little dragonfly button I turned into a charm by going over it w/ a silver leafing pen and some stickles. After coloring the fish w/ Copics and cutting him out, I attached him to the card and drew a little water line and added some gems. The card is 5.50 x 4.25.
Thanks so much for stopping by!Â

This is such an adorable creation! I love your idea with the charm inside the oval and that fish IS so cute!! 🙂
I have been following and admiring your creations since I saw this caught a bug fish card.
I think you’re one of the most talented designers and I love your work. Thank you for inspiring and teaching those of us with less talent…(practice) 🙂
Thank you so very much, Kathy!
