The Technique Challenge on Splitcoast today (TLC420), is light to dark…a gradient color challenge. Love me some gradients and since I was making a masculine birthday card, I used shades of brown. I hardly ever use browns so this was a bit of challenge for me. I used Copics for all the coloring on my gradients layers.
The images are from DRS Designs. I stamped the silhouette hiker and trees w/ the cocoa ink and die cut w/ the oval. I cut a larger oval and went around the edges w/ shades of brown/orange Copic markers. I used the sam markers for the edges of the larger rectangle and the narrow strip down the side. I overstamped it w/ lines design and the Memento inks. I stamped the trees again on the backing rectangle and the lines on the chocolate piece.
These are the inks and Copics I used:

What a perfect masculine card Julie. Love the monochromatic look and the “wood” effect you achieved with your frames. Just gorgeous!
This is wonderful and I love the organic feel of this card
