Birthday Balloons xcu08223
Welcome to the Serendipity January Blog Hop! We are showing off a fabulous new Balloon die & featuring some fun birthday images along with it! If you arrived here from Jenny’s Blog ,  you are in the right place..if not, you may want to head over there first. This is also for the Featured Stamper (FS468). Congrats to Michele! I chose THIS to case. I kept the bright colors & birthday & balloons theme, but I used a large reverse die and sponged on my background.

The Prize – One $20 gift code will go to one random commenter from the blogs. So be sure  to visit all the blogs because you don’t know which one the winner will be drawn from. You have through Sunday January 24 to leave comments on the blogs for a chance to win. Mary will  announce a winner on Monday January 25.  Each month a different image is 50% off. This month- it’s the Party Background. The special for the hop is free shipping on all US orders of $15 or more good January 20 -24.
Be sure to check out the great deals on the Clearance Stamps!   On the third Wednesday of every month., we’ll be celebrating with a Blog Hop!  For another chance to win,  be sure to play along with our monthly challenge. You can get all the details on the challenge HERE.

To make my very sparkly birthday card, I first die cut two layers out of white using two of the matting basics. Then the Party Balloons Reverse die was die cut in the smaller layer. On the larger layer, I used Distress inks to sponge on the different colors then attached the balloon layer on top. I also sponged one big balloon cut out and the Happy die and attached them. The Party Bg was stamped across a narrow strip using the Kaleidacolor ink & the Birthday was stamped on top.  I added stickles to the Happy & the one balloon on top and used a clear Wink of Stella on the other balloons. Since we’re combining the hop w/ the monthly Challenge of Stripes, my colors were put on in stripes (or wide bands) and the Party Bg on the strip is a stripe format.
