Today’s Clean & Simple Challenge (CAS415) asks us to remake an old love/heart/Valentine card of our own. As one of the Featured Stamper Hostesses where it’s our gig to CASE a another stamper’s card, I don’t have any problem picking someone else’s work, but it’s super hard for me to CASE myself. Go figure! But I finally picked THIS one I made back in 2014. (The post on my blog for the old card is HERE.) And while we’re on the subject of CASEing oneself…Jiminy Cricket! My gallery is HUGE! How did that happen?!? I almost got lost in the “oh, I forgot about that one.”
So anyway, I die cut the big LOVE just like I did on the earlier card. And I used the same greeting, just a different stamp of it. There was a piece of heavy foil covered c/s sitting around & I thought it looked kinda neat behind the cut out so I put it there. And it already had the petal thingie cut out behind the heart & I liked that, too. I left off the dp & just added a red die cut frame & a line of die cut hearts, embossed the frame directly on the card front & called it done.
Here’s a look at the inside.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
