Congrats to Susan, the newest Featured Stamper (FS673) on Splitcoast! She has a fab gallery & I chose THIS card as my inspiration. I kept the blues & oval but used different images & dies & turned the layout.
I thought a little winter card would be nice. I put thank you on the inside but it could just as well be a winter birthday card. Had to take the pictures flat because this navy bg is one of those colors that defy picture taking. I have a couple of colors that the camera just goes haywire trying to capture the color & this is one. Flat like this, it comes out fine & hopefully you can see the silver snowflakes & silver embossed greeting, too. The snowflakes were stamped w/ the silver ink, but I didn’t emboss them..just heat set them. For the ice skates, I stamped them on the lighter blue/gray c/s & used Prismacolor Pencils on them. I have really enjoyed using the pencils on different colors of c/s lately & this color seemed to work out well for the skates. A few silver punched snowflakes were added to finish.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a Happy New Year!
