Today’s CAS Challenge (CAS537) is all about June weddings. So I have a really quick wedding card.
The wedding couple, greeting, & candles in the corner were all white embossed on turquoise felt card stock. It’s not really made of felt, but it has that same textural look to it. It’s backed w/ a WFD (wrinkle free distress) background I made w/ Distress oxide inks. the flourish across the top was cut out of the same paper & I added a few pearls on it.
Here’s the inside. I flipped over the negative of the die cut for the front & used it as a stencil on the inside.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

For the Inspiration Challenge, we’re heading to Country Living and I was inspired by THIS picture. I liked the blue bg w/ the white flowers but I switched out the rain boots for a pair of swans.
I started by using my Misti to stamp the swan several times onto a piece of blank rubber, then I stamped it onto the card stock. Then I stamped the regular one in front of it. I added just a bit of color to them then fussy cut them. For the background, I die cut the flower heart, then put it back into the opening & added a lt blue layer behind.

The Sketch Challenge (SC717) looked fairly simple so I gave it a try. I did flip the angled item from the left to the right because it just looked better on my card.
I used the 4 in 1 Cowboy Gear to make a western theme wedding card. I stamped one boot, masked it, then stamped the second boot. I colored them in 2 colors to represent the bride & groom, then added a fussy cut hat w/ a little tulle veil. The spurs were also fussy cut & added to the groom’s boot. The greeting on the heart is actually a compilation of about 3 different stamps. I used the Woodgrain Bg image on the brown strip to the left.
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
