For the Inspiration Challenge on Splitcoast, we’re visiting the Disney Music Emporium. I’ll be honest, at first I couldn’t figure out what I was going to do. So after viewing EVERYTHING, I decided to go w/ the black, white & red colors of THIS. I thought those colors would be great for a grad card.
My card is pretty easy. I die cut the fun diamonds border out of black & the separate center diamond out of red. That central piece looks kind of like a mortarboard so I made a little tassel w/ some metallic gold thread & attached a Candi dot on top. I used my Misti to stamp the greeting  underneath along w/ the silhouette grad caps on the top section. Since they’re so solid, I stamped them a couple of times.

For today’s Ways to Use It Challenge (WT735), we are to have grass on our cards..hand drawn, die cut, stamped..doesn’t matter. That’s pretty easy! All my grass was drawn in w/ Copics.

In fact, there’s only 1 image on this CAS card. The gnome w/ the partial tree. I added all the grass, bushes, sky & leaves w/ Copics. This little guy really looks like he’s sorting things out, doesn’t he? My theory is he’s thinking over ways to add a new room onto his tree house. I put together the greeting from 2 different ones, then added the die cut G at the beginning. The edges of the card front were trimmed w/ a corner rounder to match the rounded rectangle die cut of the panel.

A big congrats to Angie, the newest Featured Stamper (FS635) on Splitcoast! She has a beautiful gallery & I chose THIS to case, mainly because I have the same image. Since I did use the same image, I changed most everything else..the colors, dies & layout.

My card started with a Brusho background I made ages ago. It’s sort of how I imagine deep space would look & thought it would look good behind this happy little girl, who’s in her own little world, blissfully swinging from a star. Remember that feeling, as if you’re flying? I put her in my Misti, stamped, colored her w/ Copics then overstamped her. I stamped the greeting on a circle die cut & added a narrow frame. The stars were die cut out of white glitter paper.

Below is the inside, using leftovers from the front & next to it are the Copics I used.
