I made these for the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club July Christmas Challenge! I’ve been having so much fun being a part of the challenge this year & the bonus is I’ll have a bunch of Christmas cards finished in plenty of time for Christmas this year. You’ll need to be Fan Club member but that’s easy…just click the blue link to find out how.

To make my card, I die cut the Merry Christmas once in white & once in red then pieced the red parts into the white outline. The solid mittens were die cut in white & the toppers were cut once in red & again in black & pieced. I die cut the wonky square then used the smaller size to cut the middle out & make a frame. The black print is part of a folded card. I bought the box of printed cards a long while back & I’ve used them more as papers on another card than as cards themselves. The red polka dot print is part of a Pebbles pad.

Here’s a look at the inside using a couple of old PSX images.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I made these for the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club June Christmas Challenge! I’ve been having so much fun being a part of the challenge this year & the bonus is I’ll have a bunch of Christmas cards finished in plenty of time for Christmas this year. This was a lot of fun to make. It took a little engineering w/ the light string image but I think it accurately represents what has surely happened to us all at one time or another. And if I could have gotten away w/ it, I would have totally left them like this & called it a day. This tangled mess of lights is one reason my tree is now one of those that comes w/ lights already on it, lol. I used a stamp a ma jig to position the light string into the chaotic mess it is then colored it & added the plug on the side. I stamped just a few pine branches & 1 ornament to give the impression of the unlit tree off to the side. The greeting was made up of little die cut letters. A while back, I saw one of those hand drawn joke cards w/ this idea & thought I could create something similar.

Here are the Copics I used.

Supplies:

Stamps: DRS DesignsChristmas Light String, Pine Bough, Ornaments Galore
Paper: Staples 110# white, pine green
Ink: Memento tuxedo black
Accessories: Copic markers, Lil’ Inker Stitched Rectangles dies, Sizzix celebration words dies, Copic mulitliner pen

And just because I bought this set on clearance over a year ago & have never used it…I made a second card. Very easy since the stamps & matching dies pretty much do all the work. Stamped the whole image on the sand card stock, then again several more times on white, colored them, die cut them & popped the layers up on the original.

Supplies:

Stamps: Sizzix Tree Blueprint (stamp/die combo)
Paper: Staples 110# white, sand
Ink: Memento tuxedo black
Accessories: Copic markers, MFT diagonal stitched rectangle dies

I made this for the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club May Christmas Challenge! I’ve been having so much fun being a part of the challenge this year & the bonus is I’ll have a bunch of Christmas cards finished in plenty of time for Christmas this year. It’s a lot of fun & I hope you’ll head on over & join us. You’ll need to be Fan Club member but that’s easy…just click the blue link to find out how.

For my CAS Christmas card, I put a piece of sand colored card stock into my Misti then stamped the image. The holly & greeting are all one image, so it’s easy to use. First I colored the holly w/ Copics then did a Prismacolor pencil overlay & added some white inside the lines above & below the greeting. Here’s where the Misti is invaluable..lines tend to disappear when you use Prismas, so I stamped it again to bring them back. I masked the holly greeting & stamped the snowflakes w/ white pigment ink & heat set to dry. A few snowflakes were punched out of white glitter paper to add some sparkle.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
