For the Inspiration Challenge (IC821) on Splitcoast, we’re going to a Roundscape Art Pinterest Board where I sort of found THIS picture. It’s not the exact one I used, but for the life of me, I cannot find it now.
For my card, I die cut one white & one black panel. I shortened the black panel & die cut a partial circle out of it then sponged on the colors for the big moon on the white panel behind it. I used a white Posca paint pen to add the white splatters to the top black bg & sponged on lighter colors on the lower white part. The die cut pine trees in black & gray were added across the bottom of the top black & the greeting stamped on the moon.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge, we’re headed to a Pinterest Board full of entertainment & tabletop displays, where I found THIS picture of colorful cupcakes.
For my cupcake card, I stamped & die cut one cupcake & also die cut some extra cupcakes to use as masks. The masks are a tad bigger than the stamped cupcake but it really won’t matter..I simply stamped the center cupcake, then placed the mask close to the left side line & stamped the cupcake on the left. Then I moved the mask to the right side & stamped the cupcake on the right. I’ll mention, if you try this, you will need 3 masks minimum for when you get to the row behind the front one. I also used the reverse mask..the part left when I die cut the cupcake masks. I used the reverse mask around the stamped cupcakes to sponge in most of the color on my cupcakes. (Please see picture below.)
After sponging on the color, I used Copics to add a little more color & depth then popped up the one cut out cupcake on top of the central one. Two colors of turquoise frames were added & a little stickles, a few sequins & a cherry on top.
Here are the Copics I used:

It’s my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge (FS747) this week & a big congrats to Diane! She has a wonderful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the palm trees & birthday theme, but I used different images & dies, left off a layer & skipped the embossing.
For my beachy bday card, I die cut the smaller white panel, then used a large reverse circle mask that left the area w/ the sun open so I could sponge the yellows & orange inks to create my sun. The waves were die cut out of a couple of colors of blue, the palms trees out of brown w/ the fronds from some different scraps of green, then they were pieced together. I hand cut a small island out of the brown to ground the trees then added the 3 seagulls. To add a little texture to the palm fronds, I took a piercing tool & creased the lines on them. I did the same to the trunks of the trees.
