    Snowflake Bday cu 08156
This is for a couple of Splitcoast challenges..Color (CC564) & Sketch (SC574). Love these colors & looking through my stash, I found I have a whole bunch of backgrounds made with the blue/green combo…really one of my favorite combos. So I took one I made on a lg tag & cut it down & added some of the sand color in the bg for the color challenge. For the sketch, the only thing different is mine is the mirror image & it’s only that because the card front was upside down when I attached the vertical panel, so I had to reverse everything. Go ahead & laugh…like you’ve never glued anything upside down, lol.

The med & lg snowflakes were stamped onto white, die cut & added to larger circle layers. For the sand bg, I stamped the snowflake bg all over using the sand ink then just a few flakes here & there w/ the white ink. The tag that I used for the vertical panel was done w/ a kind of modified Wrinkle Free Distress technique & I added just a bit of the Brilliance on top for a little shimmer.

Since the challenge is stripes, I thought a stripe embossing folder on the white & the Beaded Strings Bg on top of the brayered layer would be perfect. After I stamped the cute Umbrella Snowman w/ Memento & colored with Copics, I overstamped w/ Versafine (it was still in my Misti), then die cut w/ a little out of the box to keep from cutting the umbrella. I then die cut it again using the next smallest die, brayered the cut off frame then put it back. The stripes on the front were embossed on an angle & just on the one corner for a little interest. The partial I Love Snow greeting was stamped onto a pennant which was colored around the edges w/ Copics & the die cut Snow was added below. The extra snowflakes were die cut from the Snow die.

Here’s the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

    Gold Ornament 08081
Today instead of making a tag, I put a tag on my ornament on my Christmas card. I really love this big, ornate ornament die so I cut it & the bow out of a metallic gold card stock, then backed the ornament w/ a white circle die cut.  The little tag was die cut then I gold embossed the small Christmas on it & edged it w/ a gold Krylon pen.

The paper on the left was die cut using one of the smaller matting basics then I used a pierced rectangle on it. The rectangles were not the same size so I had to move it around & do 2 sides at a time to get the piercing on it. I added a couple of strips of metallic gold on either side & then strip of another pattern of the same paper on the right of them. The large white bg was die cut w/ the largest pierced rectangle & I gold embossed the Merry Merry down the side.

Here’s the inside using some left over pieces. The Merry Merry was stamped repeatedly on the white piece using Brilliance gold.
