What a terrific color combo for today’s Color Challenge (CC352) on Splitcoast (vanilla, red & green)! Perfect for Christmas…if only this was a Christmas card, lol. I just finished making 40+ Christmas cards and I really wanted to do something else today. I think the red/green worked out OK for my spring card.
The clover (all images are Our Daily Bread designs)was stamped twice on vanilla, water colored and die cut w/ the matching die. The daisies were stamped on white, water colored and fussy cut. The window was die cut and inked DTP and also sponged w/ the red Distress ink. The curtains were clear embossed on vanilla and sponged as well.
The vanilla honeycomb bg was clear embossed, so it’s kind of subtle. I arranged the clover and cut apart daisies around my window and added a sentiment across the upper left corner. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

just stunning, Julie! I like how you used the honeycomb background in so many different ways…reminds me of Scarlet pulling those emerald velvet draperies down and having that beautiful gown created from them!!!! Your red drapes are lovely. Amazing card.
Julie, I love your spring card. I really like the clover and the clover blossoms, the bees the daisies and the clear embossed honeycomb. How clever is the honeycomb pattern in your curtains.
Totally gorgeous Julie. You’re getting lots of use from that window die – that’s for sure. I’ve been playing with it for some of my 162 Christmas cards!
This is amazing Julie!!!
