Today, I have another Christmas in July card using dies & paper from the Boughs of Joy Release. The Mr Mrs Gingerbread die set is so stinkin’ cute! And so easy to put together. I added all of the parts for Mr. Gingerbread plus a hat from a snowman set and a barberpole sign from a Winter Sign set.
For the Inspiration Challenge IC1025, we are visiting a Pinterest Board of Flower Pots. THIS was my inspiration. I thought the gingerbread man made w/ flower pots was so cute!
To make my Gingerbread Man card, I die cut him out of kraft, along with a large background layer & the outside dot dash arch. All of the gingerbread outfit parts were cut with white, dk red and black and attached to him. After the smaller white arch was also run through with the wood plank background after it was die cut. I attached it to a plain white arch to hold it together. The hat was from a snowman set & I also made the barber pole sign for him to hold. The greeting was a little too big to fit on the sign that came with the set, so I used a tag die that would fit. The designer paper went so well with Mr. Gingerbread & it was attached on top of the kraft layer behind the arches. Love how he looks like a big sign on the door of a Christmas bakery.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
