Blue Flowers

Today I have flowery card in shades of blue. It’s not hard to make, just one die for all of the flowers and leaves cut out of coordinating blues and a couple of greens. The background was quickly and lightly stenciled with 2 shades of blue ink. Add a pair of frames, arrange the flowers and add a flower wrap and done!

For the Inspiration Challenge we are visiting Kuyike & their Pinterest Board. THIS was my inspiration. I liked the blues on a white background,

To make my card, I used the Spring Flowers dies and cut all the flowers out of 3 shades of blue & the leaves out of a couple of greens. I also cut a few flower centers & the bow out of white for a little contrast, Then it was just a matter of arranging the flowers out of the colors. I did a little flower shaping before attaching them. The background was lightly stenciled with 2 shades of blue inks & a flower stencil. The flowers & the wrap angled over the background, The frame is an all in one die & it was cut out of the darker blue & lighter green.

Thanks
so much for stopping by!

  1. Julie, your card is absolutely stunning! You are a master at die cutting, inking and arranging dies. I love the softness of your stenciling as well.
