Good Neighbors

Summer is usually the time for vacations and moving. Maybe you have some new neighbors to welcome, or neighbors to thank for looking after your house while you’re away. This would be perfect for those occasions.

It’s my turn to host the Featured Stamper Challenge. It’s the 5th Sunday of the month so the team came up with a idea for those extra Sundays. Each of the 4 Hostesses will take a year or range of FS Challenges & we each will pick one of the previous FS. Since I’m up first, I’m taking 2007, the first year of this challenge. The range runs from FS01 thru FS47. There is also the option to case yourself, if you’ve been an FS. I chose FS22: Charmwarm, aka Charmaine & THIS is the card I cased. I kept the neighbor theme & little house. I used different dies, different greeting & chose a big star instead of a big heart.

To make my good neighbor card, I die cut one of the biggest star & 3 of the smallest star out of white. The Crosshatch cover was also cut & attached to a plain piece of white. The little houses were cut out of white & kraft, as well as a few little trees. A pretty easy card. Just some die cutting & paper piecing. I used a white gel pen to add the gingerbread scallop to the one roof.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
