X 6!
A sweet litte winter scene in stacked layers, all contained within a white square frame. A soft sand and white are the only colors and it gives it a peaceful, snowy look. A little heat embossing and these wonderful new die cuts make it easy and fun to make.
For the Inspiration Challenge (IC969) we are visiting Twig & Tweed and their Pinterest Board where I was inspired by THIS picture. I liked the neutral colors and I just got these new Winter Town dies so that’s the direction I went.
After die cutting all the houses, trees & hills out of the sand color, I die cut the snow parts out of white & put the houses together. For the snowy hills, I rubbed white ink on the edges of the hills & drug it down a bit. I used a white Prismacolor pencil & white gel pen to add more snow to the trees. The falling snow is a random dot image I white embossed on the back panel. All of the hills & houses are elevated on top of each other for dimension. The Merry w/ Shadow die was used for the greeting. (I made a similar card to this last year..I liked it so much I pretty much cased myself, lol.)
Thanks so much for stopping by!
