Autumn Mushrooms

Today I have an Autumn card loaded with fall colors. Fall is my favorite time of year and I love all the warm, rich colors that appear in nature. I used a fabulous new set of mushrooms and 3 strips of wood planks. Pick and choose your colors, then piece them together. So simple, so fun and so pretty.

For the Inspiration Challenge (IC982) we are visiting Poster Store & their Pinterest Boards. I was inspired by THIS poster of mushrooms.

After die cutting the white panel, I used a woven embossing folder to add a little texture. All of the mushrooms, leaves & branches were die cut out of a bunch of different fall colors then pieced together. Three of the longest wood planks were die cut out of kraft & I used a brown ink pad to rub over the raised areas. They were a little longer than my panel so I trimmed them a bit before attaching. Then the mushrooms and fall foliage were all arranged & attached. I had just enough room to add a greeting on a die cut tag.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
