A clean & simple card that’s easy to make and easy to customize by changing the colors or the greeting. Add a black border for some impact against the white.
A big congrats to Cristena, the newest Featured Stamper (FS894). She has a wonderful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. Â I kept the wildflower in the oval layout, but I used different images, dies & colors & a few less layers.
For my card, I placed the new Oval mask on a die cut piece of white card stock. The greens were sponged in from the bottom up & the purples were sponged from the top down. I left just a bit of white between the 2 colors, then added the blue to bridge the colors. When using 2 opposite colors like green & purple, it’s important not to try to blend them together or it will usually look like mud. I used the lt blue because it blends well w/ both the purples & the greens.
After removing the mask, the pretty Silhouette Wildflowers were stamped on top of the sponged area. The word day was stamped beneath the oval & I cut a thin strip w/ the wonderful word on it to fit the oval. The image was attached to a black, die cut panel before adding to a white card.

Just sent you an email, but here are the sizes. The entire card is 4.25 x 5.50. From the sizes listed for the dies, the largest (black) die cut layer is 5.3 x 4.1. The white layer is the 2nd largest of the Stitched Rectangles set & it measures 4.875 x 3.625. The oval opening of the mask set is 2.75 x 4.
