Thinking of a Rainbow

It’s my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge (FS706) & a big congrats to Elizabeth! She has a wonderful gallery & I love how she makes sets of cards. I chose THIS card to case. I kept the rainbow of color & image repetition, but used different images & dies & changed the theme.

For my card, I inked the silhouette poppies w/ the different Color Fuse inks & stamped them several times. The second largest slimline die was used to cut the panel & I did my resizing technique to make it a bit shorter in order to fit my A2 card. The tutorial shows how to make it longer, but it works just as well when going shorter. I get a lot more use out of my dies by making them fit the size I want instead of the size they are. I used the same inks to sponge a rainbow bg to use behind the poppies. I had a little strip left over so I put it under the greeting.

I really like the bright, happy colors of these ink pads & I think they look great w/ the silhouette poppies.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
