A big congrats to Krista, the newest Featured Stamper (FS668) on Splitcoast! She has a wonderful gallery & there are many I wanted to chose, but I kept coming back to THIS card. I like the plaid, the trees & the layout, so I kept those, but I used different stamps, different dies & different papers.
After die cutting the base layers, I used an older Christmas pad of papers for the trio of trees & die cut them. There are actually 3 sizes of these trees, but I only used the largest & 2 of the middle size. To make the gold glitter backing layers, I die cut 2 for each tree & cut one down the middle, spread it to either side of the top tree, then used the second one for the lower section. I attached these trees to die cut pieces of card board for lift & strength. The gold glitter paper is from a roll of wrapping paper. For the snowflakes, I glued more of the wrapping paper to card stock before die cutting them. The greeting was white embossed on the faintly patterned red paper.Â
Thanks so much for stopping by!

This is a beautiful card! I may have to try your layering method for your trees!
