It’s my turn to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge (FS624) so a big congrats to Marge! She has an absolute fabulous gallery & for my first card I chose THIS card of Marge’s. I liked the circle w/ the heart  inside & coffee theme, so I kept those. But I used different images & dies & a different layout.
After coloring & die cutting this cute owl, I die cut the royal & turquoise pieces. On the big banner, I had to use my die resizing technique to make it longer. The hearts were also die cut & added along w/ the greeting.
Here’s the inside & the Copics I used.
My second card was inspired by THIS card of Marge’s. I liked the different scenes inside the circles so I kept that. But I have way more circles & different images & colors.
After die cutting the stitched circle bg, I colored & die cut the little images & more circles out of a couple of black & white pieces of dp. I added a larger red-violet layer & let it show thru on a lot of circles. It originally was a deep rosy pink so I sponged on some picked raspberry Distress ink to darken the color.
Here’s the inside & Copics I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
