Bird House

Such a wonderful assortment of birdhouses on the Etsy board Stacy chose for this week’s Inspiration Challenge (IC685). After much browsing, I chose THIS. I really liked the text/writing on the bird house & the cute little yellow birds.

After stamping, coloring & die cutting the birds, I set about constructing a birdhouse. Originally I made one that I wrote all over, but it just didn’t look right. Then I made one that I stamped a text all over, but it looked too busy. So I made a white one, added a little embossing & attached it over the text one so that just the edges showed. I added a die cut ground & grass (from left over acrylic paint bg) & put the greeting on a “sun” shape. I know the birdhouse is a little close to the ground, but I ran out of real estate on the card front, lol.

Here’s a look at the inside. And below it are the Copics I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
