Birthday Star Wishes

A big congrats to Angel, the newest Featured Stamper (FS610) on Splitcoast! She has a fun little gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the confetti like bg w/ the big words. But I flipped it upside down & used a die cut word instead of a stamped word & added a couple of  layers.

My card started out to look pretty close to the original. I stamped the 3 different background images using a rainbow ink pad then I die cut the big Wishes word out of white. It didn’t really show up so I used a few blue Copics to color it. My version looked a little boring to me, so I die cut the white piece I had cut the word out of & put the word back in. Then I had to turn it upside down so the word would be upright. I added a few die cut stars & stamped the Birthday above the die cut & done!

Here’s a look at the inside.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. WOW, that is a brilliant idea to cut the die out of the white card and use the white card to layer the sentiment back to it. Brilliant. TFS
