Dance in the Puddles

Today’s Color Challenge (CC675) is a denim blue, lime green & purply fig color. Love the first 2..not so crazy about the last one. This was my solution to using these colors together.

Though there’s not much to this card, it gave me trouble from start to finish. Sigh…one of those days. After I used the distress inks to sponge the bg, I used my Misti to stamp these silhouette wellies & umbrella. That was a chore all in itself. I tried a bunch of different inks & colors but the black chalk ink looked the best w/ this bg. I still had to add a few of the lines back in w/ a white gel pen. And a little color was added w/ a green & a pink marker.

Then I proceeded to somehow get ink in places I didn’t mean to but thankfully, it was covered up by the placement of the images. Here’s a look at the inside.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Your colours are perfect. I like the black boots and umbrella. You did a beautiful sponging job.
