Sending a Little Something

I’m a little late finishing this..mainly because I already had my Blog Hop Release for ODBD posted yesterday (still time to comment to win 🙂 & didn’t want to throw it off the front page. I combined the Sketch Challenge (SC595) & the Color Challenge (CC585) for my card. The colors are cherry cobbler, wild wasabi & gold. I have a couple of shades of gold in the stripe paper (I’m hoping they didn’t mean metallic).

For my mostly die cut card, I used one long panel of the Surprise Box die & cut it twice. I did move the die up a tad to shorten the piece in order to fit my card. One full panel was used for the center & I cut the other in half to use on the sides, along w/ a couple of narrow strips of the cherry. Then I added the die cut balloons, presents, bow & Sending part of the greeting. The rest of the greeting was stamped on the little oval item of the sketch.

Here’s a look at the inside. I used the negative of the Sending die & put back the little inside pieces.
