The Sketch Challenge (SC585) on Splitcoast today turned out to be almost as challenging as the colors were yesterday. I made it even harder on myself by choosing to resize the fancy die & try to cut the greeting w/ a curved die.

After stamping the bike scene w/ Memento, coloring w/ Copics & over stamping w/ Versafine, I die cut it. But as mentioned, I had to make the fancy die a little narrower to fit inside the red layer. The die is mirrored on either side so I had to cut it to just shy of the center point, turn it around, bring the opposite side in & cut to again, almost the center point. The end result removed about 3/8″ of the center section. Then I had to repeat this to varying degrees w/ the other two, smaller panels. Aye yi yi! I probably just should have used a plain die, but I wanted more of the red to show through. The sky was mostly sponged..I masked just the top area of the fence then filled in between the fence boards w/ a Copic.
