My card today is all about these wonderful dies from Serendipity Stamps. The Cottage die really reminded me of a birdhouse all dressed up like a Gingerbread house so that’s the direction I went w/ the colors. I even found a piece of brown dp in my stash w/ Gingerbread houses & patterns on it…perfect for the background & behind the door & window. I also cut the little scallop shingles out of it to trim the roofline & bottom. The tan c/s was embossed on an angle (the stripes are vertical on the folder) & some red trim for the door, window & chimney. The little bird was die cut out of red & I added the black to his face so he’d really look like a cardinal. The Season’s Greetings was die cut twice & stacked for a little dimension.
Here’s a look at the inside using the new Have Yourself greeting.
Supplies:
Stamps: Serendipity Stamps – (inside – Have Yourself) |
