Today we are taking another look at the Our Daily Bread designs Mid-October Release! The sets & dies are simply fabulous for Christmas & a must have for your collection! All is Calm 07657
My card today features the gorgeous Merry Mosaics dies & the original Peaceful Poinsettia dies. I just love the lacy, airy look of these new dies & they fit perfectly w/ the solid dies. I die cut them all out of white & the centers & leaves out of a combo of brushed gold metallic & the Winter collection paper.

For the top white panel, I used a lot of masking to stamp the All is Calm greeting. I inked the first line only, wiped off the A & replaced it w/ the Flourished Alphabet letter A. I did the same to the second line using the flourished B. I find it easiest when stamping only 1 line, to ink the line, wipe off the ink of the parts I don’t want to stamp, then cover the wiped off letter & second line w/ a piece of scotch tape because no matter how well I think I remove the ink, some always remains. This just makes sure it doesn’t ruin my project. The words were all gold embossed (one at a time, as they were stamped). All is Calm xcu07665
After the greeting was finished, I placed the panel into a dot embossing folder then put an embossing frame on top. The embossing frame has an oval opening that keeps the dots from embossing on top of the greeting. I’ve also done this by die cutting an oval out of a couple of card board frames and using the frames on top of the embossing folder. Either way works!

Here’s a look at the inside. I only had this one corner of the dp left over so I used it to frame the greeting which was die cut using the  Vintage Label die.
