For the Ways to Use It Challenge (WT461), the theme is Let it Snow! So with that and the recent bone chilling temps lately, I have a big embossed snowflake and ice skates card.

My skating card is pretty easy. After stamping and coloring w/ Copics, I did do a little out of the box treatment on the top. The grey heather background was embossed and I used a white Permapaque marker to highlight the raised areas. A couple of cobalt blue layers and a little rhinestone, and my 4.25 x 5.50 card was finished. Only a handful of Copics were used and here are the colors: Julie Warner – https://thewritestuff.justwritedesigns.com

Love that embossing folder – Great for winter cards. Love the addition of the skates!

  • Really gorgeous creation Julie!! I love how you went over the embossed areas and your coloring is fabulous! 🙂 Why do you have colored tape over some of you Copic markers?

  • LOL! No big mystery, Vicki! It’s still on a bunch of them from last year. I took some w/ me to Copic Certification classes and we were told to do this so they wouldn’t get mixed in with the class markers. Just haven’t gotten around to removing it all.
