For today’s Technique Challenge (TLC416), the challenge was to use an embossing folder on designer paper then sand the top. The paper I chose has a faint pattern but after embossing and sanding, it all but disappeared. I still like the look, though. My crocus image was colored w/ Copics and fussy cut. I have no idea if crocus anywhere are actually this color, but I colored them to go with the papers. I stamped the crochet circle on a piece of the same dp I used for the left side and used the matching die to cut it then attached it to a Decorative Labels 1 cut out of another piece of the paper from the same pad. The stripe on the right is also from this collection.
The images are all from Our Daily Bread designs. I die cut a piece of the pink pattern using a couple of border dies and attached over the seam then attached my crocus layers on top. The sentiment was stamped directly on the 4.25 x 5.50 card front.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

How pretty! It resembles a cross at first glance! Very appropriate for this time of the year. I love the colors of the crocuses, and the good thing is – they can be whatever color that we want them to be! Beautiful card.
Beautiful and elegant. Awesome colouring.
