Awesome BUtterfly cu IMG0332
Weekly-Favorite
A big congrats to Robin, the newest Featured Stamper (FS488) on Splitcoast! After much browsing, I picked THIS card to case. I kept the basic layout but used different images, different colors & made a water color bg instead of using designer paper. I’m also combining this with the Inspiration Challenge (IC549) & THIS was my abstract inspiration.

To make my background, I sprayed parts of the w/c paper w/ water then sprinkled on the Brushos crystals & spritzed w/ water again. Most of the time, I used a heat gun to dry it in between colors so they wouldn’t make mud. When completely dry, I stamped the butterfly corner w/ Versamark & clear embossed. Then I used a very wet paintbrush to wet the areas inside the embossed flowers & a paper towel to lift some of the color. Awesome Butterfly 09418
The butterfly on top was heat embossed w/ white ink & white powder on a separate piece of painted bg & die cut w/ the matching die. The You was also die cut out of the same bg.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
