Shamrock Shenanigans 08263
Well…I realize St. Paddy’s Day was last week, but the Clean & Simple (CAS369) is basically, well…St. Patrick’s Day. Go figure! So here I am w/ one last card. Since green (any shade) is my favorite color, I always like this holiday & I guess I’ll have one ready for next year.

To make my easy card, I white embossed the polka dot bg on the green & die cut it. On the white layer, I die cut a large shamrock & used the negative space instead. The greeting & a few shamrocks were stamped & I sprinkled a few sequins to finish.

Here’s a look at the inside.

Paddy Bear Shamrocks cu 08415
The Technique Challenge (TLC572) on Splitcoast today involves a pleated skirt made of paper. The instructions were not hard, I just made it harder on myself because of orientation of my I had to reverse the side of the pleat & make is shorter to fit.

After I stamped, colored & die cut Paddy Bear, I colored a narrow cut off piece w/ the same green Copics & added it to the upper right. I used a piece of the marigold c/s to make my pleated skirt. It’s attached to a piece of white on the reverse side & I stamped it w/ little shamrocks using the marigold ink. I also used a dot embossing folder & curved border die to cut most of the lower edge. The two ribbons were also colored to match & attached on top of the pleated skirt. A little Wink of Stella was added to all the shamrocks.

These are the Copics I used to color everything.

Gold Rainbow cu 08370
The Technique Challenge (TLC571) is naked stamping..not as risqué at it actually means “no coloring”…just plain stamping of the image onto a background. Gold Rainbow 08368
For my card, I pulled out a watercolored bg I had in my stash & since it has most of the colors of the rainbow, I thought it would be perfect with this greeting. I put the stitched white panel in my Misti & stamped the Everything Irish image. Then I tacked the die cut watercolor panel in place on the white panel & stamped it again.  I added the greeting above it & a few punched gold four leaf clovers.

Here’s a look at the inside with another fun greeting & some leftovers from the front. Gold Rainbow inside 08373
