For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge, we’re visiting a Window Display Pinterest Board, where I found THIS display for my inspiration.
To make my mini slimline card, I started by putting the outline of the flower image into my Misti & stamping it w/ black. Instead of removing the outline & replacing it w/ the different layers of the image, I left the outline in place & moved the image to another corner where I stamped the different layers in blues & teals. When dry, I moved it back under the outline image, stamped it w/ the Versaclair nocturne & clear embossed the outline. Usually I’d tend to do the embossing first, but I know sometimes the raised lines will interfere w/ the solid layers getting all the way to the edges. I repeated this w/ another large flower, 2 small flowers & the leaves, then die cut them all. The white panel was die cut first w/ the nested stitch mini slimline die, then w/ the triple panel stitch inset. On a lt blue panel, I used the repeating brick stencil & some of the lt teal inks to make the brick bg. This was also die cut w/ the triple window inset & the greeting stamped in the far right window. I popped the white panel up a bit & attached the blue brick insets inside, directly on the card front. The flowers (some also popped up) were added along w/ some gems.

For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC843), we’re visiting Natural Life & their Pinterest Board. I chose THIS picture for my inspiration.
For my mini slimline card, I die cut two kraft panels using the new Stitched Mini Slimline set for one & the new Mini Slimline Quilted cover plate for the other. On the lower panel, I used 1 part of a 2 part spin around flower stencil, first stenciling w/ white pigment ink, heat setting it, then shifting the stencil slightly & sponging w/ a few colors of pinks/reds. I then used an angled border die to cut them, put a pale pink panel behind the top one, added the scallop white border, then put them together. I die cut a bunch of flowers & added them around the stenciled ones & added gems to the centers of the stenciled flowers. The Friend die cut is triple stacked, using white, pink & kraft.

A big congrats to Ardyth, the newest Featured Stamper (FS781)! She has such a fabulous gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the mini slimline & geometric pattern, but used different images & dies & used a stencil for my pattern instead of a die cut.
For my CAS mini slimline card, I used a wonderful geometric stencil & a bunch of Color Fuse inks to sponge the colors. The stencil is a 6″ square so it wasn’t quite tac enough. I sponged in the colors as far as I could, then moved the stencil up, finding the area that matched & finished the top section. I used one of the dk turquoise inks for the stamped part of the greeting, attached it w/ temporary adhesive, then put the mini slimline die back on the die cut stencil panel & ran it thru again, to get the matched edges on the greeting strip. Before I attached it permanently, I slid two narrow turquoise strips along the top & bottom edges. The die cut Happy was double stacked w/ the pale rose & white, & the shadow was cut out of turquoise.
